This full-scale printed plan of a 6-string electric cigar box guitar is beautifully drawn using CAD software. It includes a fret slotting chart, materials list, neck details, wiring diagram & more. Cigar box guitars have been around for a long time but they have experienced a resurgence in recent years. This plan combines the fun of a cigar box guitar with the versatility of a standard electric guitar with two pickups fitted. The scale length and neck design are based on a standard guitar so it can be played the conventional way. You can have fun choosing your own unique box to use. The build process is easier than a standard guitar and because a cigar box is used instead of a body, it is also less expensive to build.
